Before I was a Mom

Before I was a Mom,
I never tripped over toys or forgot words to a lullaby.
I didn't worry whether or not my plants were poisonous.

Easyer Egg Hunt!

A couple of weeks before Easter last year my kids informed me that they were getting to old for Easter egg hunts and really weren't even into dying eggs anymore. This broke my heart. How was I going squeeze a couple more years of egg hunts out of my kids? I wasn't ready to give it up yet. Then it hit me, what motivates kids more than anything...

Dear Mr. Gore... where the hell is my global warming?

For decades Al Gore has been talking about global warming.

Three years ago I bought a home in central Pennsylvania and wanted to make sure I was well-prepared for the coming climate crisis. I have a beautiful swimming pool, two decks, and large south facing windows. I was all ready for the new subtropical Pennsylvania that Mr. Gore promised!

The Night before Christmas for MOMs
'Twas was the night before Christmas, when all thru the abode, only one creature was stirring, and she was cleaning the commode.
The children were finally sleeping, all snug in their beds,
while visions of Nintendo 64 and Barbie, flipped through their heads.
The dad was snoring in front of the TV,
with a half-constructed bicycle on his knee.

The Next Generation

Last night, I, along with most of the world, watched the race for President of the United States come to an end. The one thing that amazed me the most about last night was the interest that my children showed in this election. They both have strong beliefs as to why or why not Senator Barack Obama, or Senator John McCain should or should not be President. And to tell you the truth, they made more sense then some adults that I have spoken to....

Tweens and Texting
Being a parent of two tween boys, one of which will soon be a teenager (I am reminded of this constantly ). I am often second guessing myself and the decisions that I've made. The Cell phone. Who would have thought that the world would have so much to say about whether or not my children have cell phones. How young is too young. Get them on a plan, or a trac phone. New Web Browser, Google Chrome

The browser wars are heating up. First Firefox and Safari started taking chunks out of Internet Explorer's dominance. Now there's a new browser in town, and this one was created by Google.

I downloaded the beta today of Google Chrome. Like everything Google, it's simple and user-friendly. At first glance I am impressed.

I decided to bite the bullet and make it my default browser for a week. I'll probably go back to Firefox, but I want to give it an honest try. To continue reading this article go to www.JasonsMillion.com.
